Can I try Beanstalk HQ for free?

Can I schedule a tour before visiting?

Yes. Facility tours are available by appointment. You can book a tour at beanstalkhq.com or through the Calendly scheduling link on the website.

What age range is the playspace for?

The supervised playspace welcomes children aged 18 months to 11 years old.

How much does it cost to visit Beanstalk HQ?

Drop-in options include a 1-hour pass for $15 and a 3-hour pass for $36. Saturday Morning Open Play is $10 for the whole family (returns in Fall). A Discovery Pass offers 10 sessions valid all year for $300. Monthly membership plans start at $135 for 5 visits per month, $262.50 for 10 visits (most popular), $382.50 for 15 visits, $495 for 20 visits, and $1,056 for unlimited access. All plans include optional coworking and sibling add-ons. First visit is always free for new families.

Can I drop off my kids and leave?

No. Beanstalk HQ is not a daycare. Parents or guardians must remain on the premises at all times, but can work in the coworking space, relax in the café, or use the lounge — all within steps of the playroom.

What qualifications does the staff have?

All staff hold college degrees in related fields with experience including Montessori certification, PA Department of Education licensing, and public and private school teaching. Every staff member has FBI clearances, required Pennsylvania background checks, and CPR/First Aid certification.

Does the playspace have an educational component?

Yes. Beanstalk HQ's playspace is built around 6 pillars of learning: social and emotional development, language and literacy, peace education, math foundations, science and nature exploration, and geography and cultural studies. Monthly themes guide hands-on activities, and an optional 12-week Little Learners academic enrichment program is also available.

Do you host birthday parties?

Yes. Beanstalk HQ offers two birthday party packages. The DIY Party starts at $295 on weekdays and $395 on weekends — you bring your own food and decorations. The All-Inclusive Package is $595 for up to 15 children and includes themed décor, pizza, cupcakes, and gift bags. The venue accommodates up to 83 total guests and 32 children.

Is Beanstalk HQ a chain?

No. Beanstalk HQ is a one-of-a-kind space founded in Wexford, Pennsylvania. There is only one location, serving the Pittsburgh North Hills area including Cranberry Township, McCandless, Ross Township, and Allison Park.

Are there membership perks beyond childcare?

Yes. All monthly members receive 40% off additional sibling sessions and 15% off DIY birthday parties and events. Coworking space access is available as a member-rate add-on with every monthly plan.
